I am a member of Share Your World Sunday. Cee puts out a list of questions on Sunday, and we respond. As you can see, the questions are fun ways for us to get to know each other a little more. Cee, in her typical brilliance, finds a way to get the questions to blend together brilliantly each week. If you haven’t seen her blog~~get there. Your chin will drop to the floor at her brilliant photography…..Now on we go: first I have pasted in Cee’s challenge for this week, (in quotes and italicized below)~then I put my answers.
“March 24, 2012Cee NeunerLeave a commentGo to comments. Here are the four Share Your World questions for this week. I hope you have some fun playing along. I’m so thrilled some of you participated last week few weeks. It sure was fun learning about all of us.
- If you had a choice, which would be your preference: salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, hot tub, or desert?
- What book do you think everyone should read and why?
- What’s your favorite way to wake up and what’s the first thing you do?
- What do you do to relax?
See my answers below.

1. My choice used to be rivers and lakes…..until the ocean stole my heart. I am specifying ocean saltwater beaches. Some rocks on the beaches (Like the coast of Maine) is good, too.
2. I think everyone should read the Bible every day~or a book that builds your faith and strengthens your resolve so that you can get through your days and years with your faith strong, your love determined, and more.
3. favorite way to wake up? slowly, with the sun beginning to stream through my windows and my husband snuggling me .
4. to relax I listen to lovely music, talk, maybe cook, maybe read, go for a walk, read, put my feet up, have a cup of coffee with my husband, son, or friends. Or I get myself to water~beach, pool, hot tub, a nice relaxing bath, watching a rainstorm from a porch, ….in every form, water ALWAYS relaxes me.
I so love this, Kate (and yes I know my comments have become quite redundant)!! Can’t wait till I get my cooking done today, so I can participate again! God bless you abundantly. love, Caddo
what are you cooking today?
I fixed a big cauldron of turkey soup with veggies and brown rice (still trying to use up turkey stock/drippings/meat in freezer!). Was also intending to fix cube steaks with yummy not-heart-healthy country gravy, and biscuits–but ran out of steam (I have a bad headache), so I’ll be doing that tomorrow. Also have to cut up strawberries and freeze them; and I need to cook carrots to puree and freeze for carrot cake next month. Too bad you’re not next door–I’d be begging you to at least take some soup off my hands!! See you soon–God bless you Big!
That would be fun, Caddo! I will always take soup. That is one of my favorites. I bet the soup came out great, right? It sure sounds like you had a wonderful cooking day. I love those :-). God bless you, too, sweet Caddo.
I so agree that water is relaxing in any form. There is also a lot of power and strength in water which I love too! Thanks for participating!
I know; sometimes if I am super-stressed out, if I just get my head wet by sticking it under the kitchen faucet and give my hair a good rinse, it puts me in a superb mood. very nutty, but it works. sometimes, i just need to be wet 🙂
I might have to try that!!
Loved your answers. I have to say, water is definitely a relaxation and the Bible truly is the best read. Thanks.
Thanks. Doesn’t Cee come up with the best questions?
Totally … I really enjoy doing this. 😀
kate, I can’t thank you enough: through your postings a few weeks back, I first learned of Share Your World! For those who see this but haven’t joined thus far….what are you waiting for? It’s fun and really rounds out the personal nature of your blog without being all “look at me, look at me!” about it! Cee really should be commended for creating this fab concept and what better way to show gratitude than via participating!
I so agree with you there. Her questions are always so lovely~create ways of sharing without being a prying or invasive thing. I enjoy participating in it.
