The path less traveled

There are so many ways to find your next path in life. I have been reflecting on the various paths I have taken throughout my life. Some paths turned out to be oh so true to my heart. Others worked for a bit then fizzled. I would compare the fizzled ones to the Gospel parable about the seed planted on rocky soil. That very same soil might turn out to be fertile soil for someone else.. But for me it ended up being rocky soil, or soil that I didn’t have the oomph to till. There are some things all of my paths have in common, at least for awhile. I think, in life, it is critical to keep in mind the ways your heart best connects. Those are, for me, the best paths. Those are the paths God has in mind for me.
