Incremental Improvement in the Infection

It was a weekend of prayer and care-taking. Saturday afternoon and evening my son rested, but was feverish and achy. We determined after a few cookie-tossing episodes that the codeine in his pain reliever was making him ill. His toes began to look less “angry-red”. Finally Saturday night he slept—off and on, but slept.

Sunday showed some more incremental improvement in his toes, and the fever was gone. He took some solid naps at different points, and slept through the night. Today I am trying to schedule follow-up appointments and we will take it from there. Hopefully the doctor(s) will give us good news and say that it isn’t my imagination, and that we are headed in the right direction.

Please continue to pray for him and his toes. Pray, too, for a special intention. Thank you so much for reaching out, being supportive and praying. I will update you.
