Weekly Photo Challenge: Wonder. When I think of a photo of wonder I think of photos of sights that left you drop jaw amazed. I am not saying my photos are in and of themselves stunning. I am still not a terrific photographer. But these photos include Meteor Crater in Arizona: Note how small the people look on the platform to give you an idea of how huge the crater itself is.: The other shots are of the Grand Canyon. Sorry if these are two big or laid out strangely. I am still a little iffy on posting photos!

I am a perennial optimist
I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-

I know—-it was tremendously huge! Took my breath away, even though just the day before we had seen the Grand Canyon!
This seems to be an exhibit for the cosmic aspect of Nature’s power.
Oh, to share my picture too 🙂 http://wp.me/pdJ7S-qd
It’s a lovely photo Brandon!
It is! So many beautiful things to see, aren’t there?

oh my – the absolute grandeur
Thanks, Jo. My photos of the expedition don’t begin to capture the intensity of the colors nor the vastness. It is breathtaking beyond description.
Wonderful.
Thanks my MN pal!
This is amazing! I really loved looking at these photos today. And although you may think you are not an amazing photographer, you are certainly better than me! The colours stand out so well and help define how vast those expanses really are! I really hope I can visit the Grand Canyon someday – crossing my fingers!
Thanks Emily May! In person the colors were even more vivid and richer. I’m so glad you liked them. I hope you can visit the Grand Canyon, too :-). I took a look at your blog and it is wonderful! Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you visit often!
I spent a couple of days at the Grand Canyon, North and South. Even did a helicopter flight from Vegas. It’s such an amazing place and I knew it would be a once in a lifetime visit so I was determined to get the most from it…
oh wow—was the helicopter ride one that goes down low into the canyon? I saw one do that while we were there…we only did South Rim. We plan to go back and spend a few days. it is so beyond description!
