Goodwill Hunting–my post # 237

I love to browse at the Goodwill store. You never know what you will find. The other day I stopped in to make a donation. After I had done that I made a quick stop inside the store to see if there was anything wonderful. After a long dry spell of no finds, this day I found something wonderful. I found two absolutely lovely end tables and a rolling wood file cabinet. All in all a fabulous find. Usually I find some books or a movie—or maybe a blazer or something like that. It had been a long time since I had found furniture that was gorgeous.

These nightstands were really beautiful and quite unique. They really changed the whole look of my bedroom and made it worth the expenditure and the time it took me to haul them home. I was very pleased. We had tried a number of different solutions over the years to the bedside storage issue. Everything ended up looking like the wrong scale, disorganized, and cluttered. These tables have beautiful lines and room for storage. For a change, the scale was perfect. I am inserting a photo here of my thrilling find. Usually the only place I found nightstands that I loved was some of the high end furniture stores. But I had no intention of spending mega-bucks on them. This day was a huge success. The nightstands were maybe 10% of what they’d cost retail!I bought them both.  Such a great, great deal. Doesn’t it look lovely?
