Hey there! I hope your week is going well. Can you believe that spring is just around the corner? Those of you living in cold weather states haven’t seen many signs of spring, yet. The emphasis is on the yet. We need to focus on the word yet, when we feel discouraged or impatient. So many things feel like they take forever. For example, if you are working with a physical therapist or fitness trainer, change and improvement doesn’t happen overnight.
When a student’s grades are low, it takes a lot of time effort, and good grades to counteract the low marks. The same process happens with debt. The same thing happens when trying to lose or gain weight, or improve one’s nutrition and fitness. I do help people with all of these. But it has been a process of discovery for me.
I used to feel resentful that it takes time. I wanted instant results in my own life. But it is through continuous, regular effort that we come to realize that our hard work is paying off. The effort and struggle help me remember not to relapse or undo my progress. Is that true for you?
These days, one of the first things I ask people I know and love is: how can I help?
Do you work on any of those things or have you in the past? Let’s discuss! Are you working on your relationship with God, studying Scripture? consulting with Him BEFORE running to everyone else for advice or approval? Remember: you are God’s masterpiece. May your day be incredibly blessed.
