A Kind Thing

Today one of my bloggin’ pals passed on an award in a comment. The title of his link, I would bet, sums it up for us all in a way. Know this, I don’t acknowledge this to toot my own horn.  He said in the link that there are some blogs that make him smile. That was a nice, nice thing for him to say. Some days i try to define or perhaps refine my voice. I am definitely a work-in-process…..one of God’s “Kids Under Construction”.

His link (which gave me my third star already)reminds me that things are ok with my writing. In spreading myself so thin, my writing pace has been off. I am happy that mine was among the blogs that make him smile.

After a sorrowful couple of days for the country, i am glad that there have been times i made him smile….

Here are the rules for the blog of the year award.

The Rules for this award are simple and here they are:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them

5 You can now also join our Facebook page – click the link here ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience

Here are some blogs I think deserve the award—I hope each of you realize you make a difference!

  4. Congratulations again, Kate! Well deserved indeed!

  5. In these days of tragedy and discouragement, it’s important that those of us who have faith in the One who gives us hope shine our little candles of light in this dark world. You do that, Kate. Thanks for the lovely award. We all have to do our part and I sure hope, like you, that what I write inspires others or just gives them a reason to smile. Merry Christmas, my friend!
