Share Your World – Week 37

Ok–I lose points for being a procrastinator. This is for Cee’s Share Your World that started 9/2—tomorrow there will be a new one. Here is the link: http://ceeslifephotographyblog.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/share-your-world-week-37/

  1. Do you believe in the afterlife?  Reincarnation? {I believe in the afterlife, but not reincarnation. However, should there actually be reincarnation, and I am required to come back as an animal, I think I would choose a bottle-nosed dolphin because they are smart and they laugh}.
  2. For your computer Mac or Windows based computer?  Desktop, laptop or other? {Windows. I have never used a Mac. Laptop because I can use it all over the place!}
  3. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? {That is a hard one to pick! Maybe it would be fun to be on the moon and watch Neil Armstrong make his first step!}
  4. What are you reading fiction or non-fiction or studying and would you recommend it? {Non-fiction: it is Schaum’s Geometry. Trying to come up with other ways to explain Geometry to one of my students. I know!! It’s a page-turner, for sure!}

  1. I so think you get points for not stressing it and then doing in your time. My opinion.
    Love your answers. # 4 very interesting.
    So tell me, what is it you do for serious reading girl?

    • Kate Kresse says:

      LOL—Geometry does NOT stick in my HEAD. I am a lot better than when i took it in HS—-but proofs? arghhhh—so when my algebra students move up a year and still want me to tutor i have to get serious about keeping it fresh!!!!

  2. TBM says:

    I wish you were there when I was trying to learn Geometry when I was in high school. My brain could not wrap itself around the concepts and my teacher didn’t care-not to badmouth my teacher, who was overworked and had a difficult year. I don’t think you would have given up on me though. At least you could have made me laugh.

  3. Cee Neuner says:

    My geometry teacher changed my life as a student (and probably person). So I’d be all over your book!!!! Thanks Kate.
