Share Your World–Week 27

Here are Cee’s questions for this week, and my answers. Hop over to  Cee’s blog  and join in the share your world joy 🙂

Questions:

If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying and joyful life than yours? I am going to say maybe 10. I have a very satisfying and joyful life!!

Which would you rather have, 100 Million Dollars or True Love?If I say 100 Million Dollars does that mean my hubby leaves? If so, then I would take my hubby! On the other hand, if I could have both, I would take both. Revision: I heard back from Cee that I get to keep my sweetie and the 100 Million. So……first pay off debts, and set up for retirement. THEN:(1) start a charter school K-college. This would be a hybrid—part homeschool and part onsite school. Part online and part hands on. The students would be taught in keeping with their particular learning style by teachers and parent-teachers who excel at a specific learning style. (2) start a holistic research foundation to fund research and treatment for: (a) lupus, lupus nephritis, and lyme disease; (b) life issues —using writing and the arts to overcome negative and sorrowful issues. (3) start an advocacy group staffed by volunteers and experts locally and remotely for various issues: (a)anti-bullying efforts; (b) dealing with insurance/medicare/hospitals/school systems; (c) general life coaching. Yeah—and i would learn how to be a great fundraiser so that i can keep funding all this stuff!!!!!!!

If you had to cancel one month of the year forevermore, so that period of time no longer existed, which month would go?  And why? Gosh—I don’t want less time, I want more time!! Maybe I would cancel January—to shorten the time between Christmas and Valentine’s Day!!

You’re given One Million Dollars, what do you spend it on?I would pay off our house and  our debts from medical expenses and my son’s college loans! Then I would give some to charity and save the rest for emergencies and retirement. I know, boring, right?

  1. Cee Neuner says:

I think everyone is buying a house or paying on off with the million dollars. I figure for the 2nd question if we already found our true love it’s a given we can take the $100 million. 😀 Thanks so much for playing along.

  2. you have some excellent ideas around the issue of education. I particularly LOVE the importance you’ve placed on a student’s individual learning style!
such good answers on all of them!!!

  3. Caddo Veil says:

Holding my breath as I attempt to comment. Great answers, Kate!

I don’t think you can resubscribe/follow if you clearly are marked as a subscriber/follower–this is something WP really needs to fix, I cannot. On another blog, today, my comment won’t post–and when I try to repost same comment, I get the message screen “duplicate post, you already said that”, but it’s still not posting. So I guess I’ll have to write a post at CV, explaining why I’m “liking” everyone’s posts but NOT Talking as usual!

God bless you Big–love, sis Caddo

    • Caddo Veil says:

Apparently I can “talk” to you–but no one else–sheesh!!

    • Kate Kresse says:

hmmm try unsubscribing or unfollowing and then sign up again?? Yesterday a number of your comments ended up in my spam and i clicked on not spam. today none of them did. so maybe if others do that, too, it will fix the problem?? i hope it gets fixed. i know it’s frustrating. love you===god bless you big!

      • Caddo Veil says:

Okay, maybe tomorrow I’ll make a list and unsubscribe to everybody, then resubscribe–I’m too fried tonight. I was going to give Akismet a couple days too–in hopes that Cee’s great advice, panned out. By the way, do you have a “paid” blog, Kate? Because it seems that the paid blogs/upgraded ones are not encountering these issues. And if that’s true–I think we need another post by someone like yourself to “push the button”, wave the red flag, etc…Thank you for your loving blessings of support–it’s bound to get better, and hey–we gotta “Believe Anyway”, right? RIGHT!

        • Kate Kresse says:

i don’t have a paid blog (but i do pay $30/yr to be advertisement free). the way you can tell if it is a free blog is if it has wordpress.com with the name [like believeanyway.wordpress.com or caddoveil.wordpress.com]. i see no harm in waiting to see if Cee’s advice pans out.

    • Kate Kresse says:

I am really glad that your post stuck its landing like a champion gymnast! Go Caddo!!

  4. Gilly Gee says:

My answers would be pretty close to yours, the charity work would be slightly different thats all 🙂

  5. Smiling 🙂 at you and that I did not think to ask Cee if I could include having D and the money. I am striking my original response now. You are the second SYW player who said the same similar thing, and I was not giving up my True Love for no amount of money. But if I can have him and the $$$’s well then….

Love to see your answers each week Kate. I have been missing you in my time of neglect of my blog and blogging friends.
    So good to see you.~

    • Kate Kresse says:

been missing you, too! i have been neglecting my blog and my friends’ blogs, too. I have not been multi-tasking well at all! Need my rhythm back. hugs to you

  6. Your goals are great…I hope that with or without the million you might actually find a way to still fulfill them! There are many surprises in life! Who knows? 🙂 Debra
