It is beginning to look like bragging, isn’t it? Perhaps it is a case of casting your bread upon the waters. I have been given the One Lovely Blog Award by my friend at http://dadirridreaming.wordpress.com/2012/01/20/more-awards/. Her blog (words and photos both) are fascinating, inspiring, heartwarming. I love the name of this award-perhaps because I love the word lovely. I am going to pass this on to a number of blogs today. Please know that I plan to update this page when I add more blogs. Perhaps that is the violation of the “rule” but I want to get my thank you posted—and I want to mention some lovely blogs. Pull the badge from my page when you acknowledge, and put the link from this post on your page (i think that is the way it works ;-)). Β Thank you for the award. Even more, thank you to anyone who reads my blog. I appreciate the time that you take to do so. Heaven knows I am neither succinct not concise. So I appreciate your time, kindness, receptiveness, and comments. I appreciate it more than I can adequately express.
Here is the list. I may add another list later…each of these blogs is lovely, inspirational, fascinating and worth visiting on a regular basis. Had to re-post because I put some in and forgot to save…what can I say–it’s Friday π

oh my goodness—thank you so much. you are really remarkable yourself:-)
Kate,
I keep discovering the truth of this that you said: “Perhaps it is a case of casting your bread upon the waters.” When I began my blog it was a risk, just casting…The Lord is showing me that the right kind of risk is necessary and that fruit is inevitable with Him. He is so kind!
Thank you again–I’ll link back to this page,
Maria
You’re welcome, Maria. The best of everything to you. Let us know how the book signing goes π

Everyone likes your site, Kate–it’s unanimous! π
You have fun with this stage in life–God provides these delightful rests for His own. Soak in it, revel in it. So glad for you. π
Thanks, Kathy. It is heartwarming. You are right; it is a delightful rest. I am sure it is meant to give me strength for the journey. i wonder what is around the bend in the road !
DON’T WE ALL??!!! π
oh boy, we sure do!! We are so impatient with God sometimes. I bet He has a good laugh about that every now and then. It makes me smile to think about that.
You are definitely a Lovely Blogger! Thanks for sharing your inspirations with us all. I am humbled to be on your list. Thanks Kate!
you are welcome, Debbie!
You have been overly generous with me, Kate. Two awards in a short amount of time. What can I say but…mahalo nui loa…thank you from the bottom of my heart…dear friend. π
wish i knew how to say “you’re welcome” in Hawaiian. I did take Italian, so I will say “prego diece mille” [10,000 you’re welcomes].
