What war is worth fighting? topic #164

What war is worth fighting?. The wars that are worth fighting are wars that are in self-defense in the case that another country has attacked your country or declared war upon you; and wars to defend people suffering genocide such as WWII with Nazi Germany. If another country asks your country to come to their aid and help them defend themselves from another invader, this may also be a war worth fighting. If one refuses to fight in the case of a country invading your own country, and then the invading country takes over your country and harms or exterminates your citizens, where do you turn for help?
I believe one must create the belief in the minds of other countries that if we are attacked we will react, measure for measure. That is how bullies should be dealt with. Bullies are less likely to attack the strong and more likely to attack those they believe to be weak and conquerable. Bullying is about power—.

In the case of genocide, I go back to one of my core beliefs: All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to stand by and do nothing.
