Topic #148: Do you think people should have the right to commit suicide? What about euthanasia? No i do NOT think people should have the right to commit suicide. I respect life from the pre-born stage to natural death. Pope John Paul II was a living example of how to live a faithful life while suffering with a debilitating disease. God decides when we come into and leave the world. I do not believe it is required to remain on life support if there is nothing more to be done—-I am talking about artificial means of keeping yourself alive. Beyond all of this I also do not believe in the death penalty. There have been many times when I have been in a conversation with someone about being against abortion, suicide, and euthanasia. Often times people will then say to me you pro-life people are all alike. You are anti-abortion but pro- death penalty. Wrong. I am against both. They say ‘you want to force people to have babies but aren’t willing to adopt. oops! wrong again ;-). All of these: abortion, suicide, euthanasia, and death penalty, are murder. I am anti-murder. Plain and simple. It is wrong to take a life….even if the life we are taking is unwanted or suffering.

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-
