Holy Week

Holy Week makes me reflective and contemplative. This year it also is cause for great rejoicing. For we know that Jesus will rise. That I always know. But this year my son is living proof of God’s miraculous power. God can work however He chooses to accomplish his miracles. He can work through doctors, through friends, through the re-directing of our hearts.
We saw the nephrologist today and Josh’s creatinine levels dropped significantly. Not to where we need them to be yet–but he is well on his way. More importantly, this experience has strengthened his and our faith. That is always a comfort. So many times a detour or disappointment can cause us to turn away from God. Thankfully all 3 of us ran to His arms instead.
This week I feel as though I am walking in lockstep with Jesus. I feel as though I am resting close to Him and my heart is beating in His rhythm and His time and space. Do you ever feel that way? It is a lovely feeling. I believe God opens a special connection after times of trauma so that we can rest in Him until we are fully restored. I am so very thankful for God’s loving presence. The sunshine and warm spring breezes gladden my heart.
I sing praise to God this evening—and rejoice in His holy name. Let us continue to pray, praise, and hold steady to our path. I wish you love and joy this evening.
