Forget 2012, when do you think the world will end?. I think as long as we can all resist the temptation to deteriorate into nuclear armageddon that the world will end hundreds if not thousands of years from now. Whether or not we as a race can learn to get along better and take better care of each other is another thing entirely! I believe that we need to be better caretakers of each other’s hearts. What do I mean by that? I mean that people need to care more about each other’s feelings than making a point or highlighting someone’s errors. The coarsening of the culture has contributed to this mindset and it troubles me. I think it is really, really important to be gentle with each other. That will make the world an emotionally safer place to be. People that feel safe with each other, then, will be less likely to destroy the world they are in. The only exception to this would be subgroups bent on destruction, jihad, and the elimination of entire races and groups of people….but that is another story for another day.

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-
