When was your last random act of kindness?.My last random act of kindness was to help a friend that was in need. He had been through some heart wrenchingly difficult times. Understand that we are hurting financially, too–but this friend was pretty desperate. We figured if we helped him, perhaps sometime down the road this friend would feel whole once again. he has been through so much and has so much to offer. So often we are offered the chance to be part of someone’s future miracles. A chance to make his or her ripples bigger in the sparkling pond of life. It is so much fun to participate in that. To run with that kite string up the hill and help re-launch that kite. That joy of participating in and observing those miracles…it is why I tutor….it is why I write…it is why I blog…it is why I speak…it is why I love…it is why I hope…it is why I dream…it is why I love….it is why I am a perennial optimist!…it is why!!!!

I am a perennial optimist
I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-

Kate, my new hero. I love that you find joy in participating in life’s miracles – that you find these miracles today makes me smile with happiness. Some of my own blogs have descended into real rants but I feel so much better after the venting. I suppose I can use a perennial optimist’s point of view more often – thanks. gwen
Gwen, you truly honor me. Thank YOU so much! I know what you mean about the therapeutice nature of rants….sometimes there is nothing like a good rant to get the anger out of your system! I’m going to take a look at your blog right now. Please feel free to noodle around in my blog! Have a lovly evening—-Carpe diem—kate
