Describe the best road trip you’ve ever taken. This was a trip with my husband. We had only been married about 4 years. We had been through a heart wrenching time, as we had had a baby girl that was born with multiple birth defects. She was in and out of the hospital and underwent 8 separate surgeries. By the time she was 10 months old, she couldn’t hang on any longer, and she died. About a year later, the two of us took a road trip. We were living in MN at the time and we drove around to various little towns in MN and explored them. We spent a few of the nights at a wonderfu B & B in Hastings, MN. Oh we felt so spoiled and it seemed so luxurious! Besides that we explored a lot of little river towns, watched the locks on the Mississippi River work, and ducken in and out of all kinds of shops, boutiques, and bookstores. We stopped for coffee or meals on no particular schedule….it was such a lovely, romantic, slow-paced vacation. No deadlines, no list of things to do….just spending time together, the two of us…..fabulous….

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To BeAs I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.
