What would you do with a million dollars. Right off the top, of course, would come the taxes (grrr). Then 10% to charity. Pay off the house. Pay off the other debts. Set aside at least a year’s worth of living expenses–in this economy probably 2-3 years worth actually, Put some in a fund for retirement. Take a vacation to Ireland and/or Australia and go to Hawaii. I have to say it would be lovely to be able to do everything on the list….but if that million minus taxes doesn’t cover all of this, I would stop after the charity, debts and living expenses. With the debts paid off, all of our income could then go towards retirement. wouldn’t that be a nice change!

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To BeAs I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.
