Describe the perfect crime. First of all, let me say that I do not think there really is any such thing as a good or perfect crime. (I say that because I believe fighting back in the case of self defense is not a crime). That being said, I am going to interpret the meaning of this topic as this: describe a crime that is not prosecutable. My mind immediately turns to the movie Double Jeopardy with tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd. In that movie, her husband framed her for murder and she went to prison. Upon her release, through a series of events, she discovers he is alive, living under another identity, and has their son with him. After many many events she is ultimately in a situation where she is about to kill him. The Policeman reminds her that she just got out of prison, and surely she doesn’t want to return their. She tells the policeman that won’t happen because she already did her time for murdering him! This opens the realm of possibility of a murder not being a prosecutable offense due to double jeopardy. Whoa! It is a startling ‘great jumpin catfish, batman’ moment in the film.

As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-
