Write a story from your neighbor’s perspective: Postaday #36

Topic: Write a story from your neighbor’s perspective. To my blog readers: I hope you do not mind the obvious vanity in this story…

Story from my neighbor’s perspective:

The people a few doors down

I just moved in to this lovely neighborhood. In investigating the history of the neighborhood I have discovered that many of the neighbors have moved in within the last couple of years. One of my neighbors has been here much longer. They seem to work a lot! The family seems very close knit and that is a wonderful thing to see. I see them out and about and they always treat each other with great love and respect. They have fun with their pets and seem like good citizens. They are politically involved and have signs of support in their yard from time-to-time for various political candidates. They are regular church goers and spend quality and quantity family time together. The mom and the son are great writers and the dad is an engineer. So obviously they are educated. They don’t get drawn into neighborhood gossip or disputes. They are friendly yet keep to themselves as well (perhaps because they are so busy). They seem to be good friends of a few of the neighbors—especially the families on either side of them….all 3 families are obviously very loving people. I am lucky to be in this neighborhood! The neighborhood i came from dissolved into disputes about parking and barking dogs….choosing up sides etc.  Here the adults act like adults, thank the Lord!
