The bravest thing I’ve seen someone do? There are a few—superhuman efforts on 9/11 and in Oklahoma City, of course come to mind. Closer to home? My friend Vincent and my cousin Brittany doing tours in war zones—Vincent in Iraq and Afghanistan, Britt in Iraq (still–and no the war ISn’t over).
Even closer to home: my husband bravely standing at the helm of the ship called our family through the onslaught of many difficulties, trials, sorrows, and sufferings; and our son—surviving many difficulties and heartaches, and now taking on the challenge of trying to triumph over lupus. I know so many brave people. The men I live with and the soldiers I know are the bravest of the brave. I am so grateful for the bravery. They are fine examples of service to God, family, and country.
