Topic: If you had a time machine….Where would I go? Gosh—part of me would go to Dallas in 1963, (or to MLK or to RFK in 68) and try to prevent the assassinations. However, I know in my heart of hearts they wouldn’t believe me. So….I think I would go to a time and place when my dad was healthy and in good humor and I would ask him to advise me about life a bit more. It would be wonderful to hear him talk and laugh and even whistle once again. Since I am in a time machine I could make the time with him last as long as I like. We could go for a swim or a walk. I could try ONE MORE TIME to really learn how to roll out a pie crust just like he always did—perfectly, effortlessly. I would throw him in the time machine with me and bring him here so he and my son could walk and talk for hours. I would take everyone to the shore—so we could talk, laugh, weep, pray, and sing by the ocean….and then ….we would eat scallops!

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-
