Postaday Topic #11:What do you want to be remembered for?

I hope that I will be remembered for my compassion and my supportive nature. I hope I will be remembered as a person who is insightful, intelligent, and encouraging. I hope
when people remember me they will remember me as someone who puts her faith
into action, and lives what she believes. I would hope that those who knew me
well also knew without question that I loved them, believed in them, and was
there for them. I hope people remember me for my optimism and my sense of
humor. I do love to laugh. I want to be remembered for my love for God’s creation—especially the ocean,  Mississippi River, great artwork, wonderful music, Broadway musicals, mysteries, crime shows, plays…I hope my students would remember me for my
belief in their possibilities and for my insistence that they do their best
work always.
I want people to remember my friendship, faith, optimism, belief in my country and in possibilities. I want people to know, without a doubt, that I always knew they loved me. I do not want people to feel guilty and wonder if they told me enough that they loved me…I know they loved me. Last of all, I want to be remembered for this: I loved to stand beside the ocean; when I had the chance in life to sit it out or dance (literally and figuratively) I ALWAYS danced…..
