#2 Name someone who deserves more credit than
they get. Oh gosh, that is so easy. My husband deserves way
more credit than he gets. He works so hard at his job every day, putting in a
ton of hours. His kindness and dedication to work, family, and God leave me
breathless. He takes the lead in taking care of all kinds of things around the
house as well. This crazy year of health crises has meant that he had to pick
up a lot of slack. Every day, without fail, he is in there pitching; without
complaint, and without being asked. He just does what has to be done -every
day. Here is an example of something simple, but oh so very thoughtful. Since
the day we were married (which was quite awhile ago by now) he calls (or texts)
me at the end of each work day. He checks to see if he needs to stop for
anything (groceries or whatever) on the way home. This is thoughtfulness. Never
a complaint from him if there is an errand to run after his long day. He is a
good, kind, thoughtful man. Is it any wonder that I cherish and love him? He
doesn’t get huge glory days at work….he’s not a CEO or anything like that—that
bothers him sometimes. He feels as though he has let us down. He needn’t worry;
he is a true champion of a man. He is an amazing engineer and an awesome
husband and dad. He always listens, always supports, a shoulder to lean on and
someone to laugh with or cry with…..and he deserves WAY more credit than he
gets.

I Am Becoming the Me I Was Born To Be
As I journey through this part of my life I have discovered my next mountain. The key is to be the me I want to be in the world, as my gift back to God.-
